Torsdag i sidste uge tog Ida, Marie og jeg til Copenhagen Ink Festival. Og som jeg skrev i sidste uge, havde jeg en tid hos en tatovør derinde.

Jeg fik tatoveret noget af teksten fra Paramores sang ‘Last Hope’, som kommer fra deres nyeste album. Første gang jeg hørte sangen vidste jeg med det samme, at jeg bare skulle have noget af teksten foreviget på min krop og den kom hurtigt på toppen af min meget lange liste. Mit eneste problem med sangen er, at i sangen synger Hayley “It’s not that I don’t feel the pain, it’s just I’m not afraid of hurting anymore” men i selve hæftet og på deres hjemmeside står der “It’s not that I don’t feel the pain, I’m just not afraid of hurting anymore.” Jeg endte dog med sidstnævnte, da jeg synes det lød bedre.

Marie havde en tid hos en tatovør fra samme shop som mig – og på samme tid. Og tro mig, de er sindssygt talentfulde! I burde se Marie’s tatovering – den er så flot! Se deres værker på deres hjemmeside allstyle-tattoo.de. Ida fik også en tattoo, men ikke fra den samme artist. Men hendes er også alt for flot!

Udover den nye tattoo fik jeg også lavet et touch-up af mine gamle tatovering på mit håndled, da stregerne var ret skæve, fordi jeg ikke havde passet ordentligt på den, da jeg fik den (oops!). Men nu ser den rigtig fin ud!

Thursday, last week, Ida, Marie, and I attended the Copenhagen Ink Festival – a tattoo convention. And like I told you about a week ago I had an appointment with an artist in there.

I got these lyrics from Paramore’s song ‘Last Hope’ from their newest album. The first time I heard the song I just knew that I had to get a new tattoo and I immediately put this one on top of my very long list. My only problem with the tattoo was the fact that, in the song, Hayley sings “It’s not that I don’t feel the pain, it’s just I’m not afraid of hurting anymore”. But in the booklet and on their website it says “It’s not that I don’t feel the pain, I’m just not afraid of hurting anymore.” I ended up going with the latter because it sounded better to me.

Marie had an appointment with an artist from the same shop as me – and at the same time. And believe me, they’re really talented! You need to see Marie’s tattoo. It looks so amazing! Go check out their work at their website allstyle-tattoo.de. Ida also got herself a tattoo which looks absolutely amazing as well but that was by a different artist.

I also had my old tattoo on my wrist touched up because the lines were uneven because I hadn’t cared enough for it back when I got it (oops!). But now it looks amazing!

Jeg glæder mig super meget lige nu. Torsdag, fredag og lørdag er der nemlig Copenhagen Ink Festival og jeg skal naturligvis med. Jeg tager derind i morgen sammen med Ida og Marie og det bliver så optur! Kommer ikke til at være der så forfærdeligt længe, men længe nok til at få en ny tatovering. Har nemlig en tid kl 13, hvor jeg skal have en tekst. Paramore fans kan måske fornemme lidt af hvad det er udfra overskriften, for det er nemlig en Paramore-relateret tattoo. Det bliver så, så godt. Ida har lovet at tage et par billeder derude, så der kommer et par pics på bloggen.

Hvordan har i det egentlig med tatoveringer? Er et et no-go eller GO?

I am super excited right now. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Copenhagen Ink Festival will be kicked off and, naturally, I’m attending. I’m going there tomorrow with Ida and Marie and it’ll be so awesome! Sadly, I wont be there for very long, but long enough to get a new tattoo. Going to get a text on my arm. Paramore fans might be able to guess what it is by reading the title of the post because it is indeed a Paramore-related tattoo. Too excited for words. Ida promised to take a few pictures out there so there will be a few pics for the blog.
